Meet Blake
I’m Blake Carter, and I’m running for Onondaga County’s 13th District Legislature because I believe county government should be transparent, accountable, and focused on the real needs of the people it serves.
My commitment to public service began long before this campaign. I served in the New York State Assembly as an intern and later as a Constituent Liaison, where I helped residents navigate state government, find answers, and connect with the services and support they needed. That experience shaped the way I think about government: it should be accessible, responsive, and willing to do the work for the people.
