What Matters -Dignity and Support for Seniors

I believe seniors in Onondaga County deserve to age with dignity, safety, and support. The people who helped build our communities should not have to struggle to access care, transportation, housing, food, or basic county services.

We need to strengthen elder care by supporting programs that help seniors remain connected, independent, and safe. That includes access to reliable transportation, affordable housing options, caregiver support, nutrition programs, and services that help older residents stay in their homes and communities when possible.

A county that values seniors is a county that values family, history, and responsibility. Supporting older residents is not just about care. It is about respect, stability, and making sure no one is forgotten as our community grows and changes.
